The British number one tennis player has attributed the recovery of his back surgery in 2013 to pracitsing Pilates. Pilates has been a core part of Murray's training regime for years for improving tennis techniques and overall fitness, but it became even more crucial to help recover from a sporting injury.
Murray's team of Pilates instructors are located across the globe developed programmes to work with his fitness regime and tennis skills. He continues practise Pilates to maintain his fitness and to support his professional tennis career. A good team of fitness professionals, physiotherapists, tennis coach and Pilates instructors have supported Murray into his 10th year of competition at Wimbledon, in the hope to make it another big win.
Andy Murray is off to a good start after beating his first opponent, Mikhail Kukushkin on Tuesday and it set to play is next match today for the next step to becoming the Wimbledon 2015 champion .
